Who is an obliged entity under the German AML Act?

Section 2(1) GwG lists 16 groups of obliged entities – in addition to credit and financial institutions, these include insurance intermediaries, lawyers and notaries, tax advisers, auditors, real estate agents, organisers and brokers of gambling, as well as goods dealers and art intermediaries. Whether and to what extent the obligations apply to you depends on your activity and in some cases on thresholds.

Not sure whether your company is affected? We will clarify this in a no-obligation initial consultation – and we will also tell you if no action is needed.

Your industry is not listed?

We support obliged entities from the entire non-financial sector. Get in touch with us.
